Skating showdown: Plenty of top talent from across the state converged on the Empire Skate Showdown last weekend downstate. Rochester’s Roc Stars fell in the title game 108-87 to the ultra-tough Wall Street Traitor$, after surviving a 94-92 semifinal thriller against fellow upstaters Ithaca’s SufferJets. Awesome effort by all teams!
